Garrett Snider

Garrett Snider founded the Resilience Foundation in 2016 and was instrumental in shaping our early programs and partnerships. He currently serves as a Board Member and oversees the organization’s joint College Readiness Program being implemented in select inner-city Philadelphia schools. Garrett assumed his first leadership role at a non-profit during the inception of Mission Kids; the Montgomery County, Pennsylvania child advocacy center founded by then-District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman, when he was 15 years old.

At 18 years old, Garrett founded Getlin Development Group; a residential real estate company with units under management in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Garrett also co-founded and operates EVA Partners; a full-service consultancy engaging the non-profit sector to create strategic solutions for foundations, family offices and companies. EVA Partners dedicates a portion of its revenue to the Resilience Foundation’s operating budget.

Garrett has served on myriad boards and committees. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Garrett became a founding partner in Reeds Organic Farm & Animal Sanctuary; a workforce development initiative set on 78 acres in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The farm harnesses the cultivation of fresh, organic food as a means to create meaningful employment and educational opportunities.

Garrett has received numerous honors and awards, including the ImpactHub’s Trailblazer of the Year Award, the Please Touch Museum’s Young Philanthropy Award, and Mission Kids Child Advocacy Center’s Advocate of the Year Award. A proud lifelong Philadelphian, Garrett serves as a Director for the Mayor’s Fund for Philadelphia and was appointed to the Philadelphia Child Welfare Oversight Board, Department of Human Services, in 2019. His writing has appeared in The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Huffington Post.
