Tom is a graduate of Bucknell University where he majored in both Philosophy and Biology while playing four years of Division I Baseball. Tom went on to graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and then clerked for the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Following the clerkship, Tom obtained his initial experience practicing at the national law firm of Blank Rome before starting The Chiacchio Firm in April of 2004.
The Firm represents clients ranging from international businesses to individuals in litigation and business transactions. In addition to representing clients throughout the United States, Tom has successfully represented clients such as Morgan Stanley, the Philadelphia Eagles and Hanover Foods before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. While Tom has extensive litigation experience, he is proud to serve as a trusted advisor for his clients outside of the courtroom whether the matter involved is personal or concerns the impact of a business transaction on the interests of his client. Among other appointments, Tom serves as Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg “Pursuit of Justice” Legal Writing Competition for law students and as a Hearing Committee Member Serving the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
